Cook Islands: Drive the Inner Road, Lunch at Tuoro, Kura Sings, and a Moray Eel

Dec 8, 2019: From Marg’s Notes: Took a short walk before breakfast. Then we started off to drive the inside road. We headed east. An interesting drive. We saw an ancient ceremonial site & a couple of trailheads. We also drove up to the start of the needle hike. After finishing the inside road, we went to Tuoro for lunch. We ad made reservation we chose the place because Kura was singing there! She was great! We had beer & tapas…mostly fish. After lunch, we came back to nap & read. After rest time, Rod hit the water, then Jim & Pam. I read for awhile & then swam. Rod saw a Moray Eel. He had shaved off his ‘stash, but it didn’t help the leaking of his mask. I saw a couple new fish. We had dinner at home again, then played cards again. We also tried to plan the rest of our visit.
